MAXIMISING THE PRACTICE OF TEACHING ASSISTANTS

4 September 2018

MPTA (register interest or book school training):

MPTA (Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants) is a follow on programme to MITA which provides actionable CPD for your support staff team within your school setting.

MPTA is an excellent opportunity to build on the MITA programme and show your teaching assistant workforce the value you place in them. It supports TA’s in developing their practice and pupil support, considering the ‘least support first’ scaffolded model, which supports pupils in their journey to independence. The training includes a session for class teachers to ensure best practice and the evidence behind it, is understood by all.

As a registered trainer (trained by the team at University College London) we can offer this programme to you within your school at dates and times to suit you and your team.

The following document will help your review as a Senior leadership team whether or not you are ready for this programme. Click here: mpta-checklist
